In this guide, I will show you how to install the Phoenix Rises addon on Kodi. The installation instructions work on all the devices that support Kodi, including FireStick & Fire TV Cube, Android Mobiles, iOS, Android TVs and Boxes, Computers, and more.
As of writing this guide, the Phoenix Rises is a relatively new addon. It is currently offering great performance with tons of streaming options. It is an all-in-one or multipurpose add-on with streaming categories for Movies, Shows, Live TV, Sports, and more.
The Phoenix Rises Kodi addon also gives you access to a bunch of other Kodi addons like Leviathan, 1 Click, Eyasess Reloaded, etc. This means you don’t need to install these addons separately if you have Phoenix Rises.
The Real Debrid compatibility gives you access to lots of premium and high-quality streams. So, that’s a plus. I have provided a separate section on how to configure Real Debrid with Phoenix Rises.
If you experience slow navigation due to metadata processing, you will also find a separate section in this guide to disable metadata.
Phoenix Rises is now also part of our collection of recommended addons for Kodi.
How to install the Phoenix Rises addon on Kodi
The installation of the Phoenix Rises addon is the same as that of any other Kodi addon. It involves adding the source link, installing the repository, and installing the addon from the repository. And, just like for any other addon, Kodi must first be configured to allow the installation.
Here is what you need to do first:
1: Run the Kodi application on your device
This is the home screen. In the top-left corner, under the Kodi logo, you can see some buttons. Click the middle one that looks like a gear and open the Kodi Settings
2: Go to the option named System on this window
3: This is the window you should see now
Select or hover over the Add-ons option in the left menu
4: The related options are displayed in the right section. One of them is Unknown Sources
If it is disabled or OFF, click it and turn it ON
5: You must now see this warning message or prompt
Go ahead and click Yes
This is how you set up Kodi for the installation of Phoenix Rises addon.

Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users are strongly advised to connect a VPN while streaming. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons. I always connect ExpressVPN on all my streaming devices and I suggest you do the same.
ExpressVPN is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here’s how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
- Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
- Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
- Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect a VPN server. That’s all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
Wrapping Up
As I write this guide, the Phoenix Rises Kodi addon is performing really well. It has plenty of streaming categories that offer access to movies, shows, kids’ content, sports, live TV, and more. It is an all-in-one addon. In addition, you can also access other addons from within Phoenix Rises, such as Leviathan, 1 Click, etc. All in all, Phoenix Rises is a good option to try.
